Tracking lets you add your own scripts, such as a Meta Pixel, GA4 or Google Tag Manager, to a webinar’s public pages. Use it to build retargeting audiences and measure your ad traffic in the tools you already use.
Find it under Webinars → your webinar → Set up → Tracking. Each webinar has its own scripts, so your workspace can run different pixels for different webinars.
You don’t need anything here to see FullHouse’s own numbers. The Overview report works without any scripts.
Add your scripts
Copy the code from your ad or analytics tool
Copy the whole snippet, including its <script> tags.
Paste it in the right box
Most snippets go in Head scripts. Fallbacks such as <noscript> go in Body scripts.
Click Save changes
Scripts run for the next person who opens a page.
Test on your public link
Open your public registration link in a private window and check your tool’s test mode. The Preview and View page buttons won’t work for this. See Why your preview doesn’t fire.
| Field | Where it goes | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Head scripts | Inside the page’s <head>, at the end |
10,000 characters |
| Body scripts | Just before </body>, at the end of the page |
10,000 characters |
What runs where
Your scripts run once each time the browser fully loads a page. They only run on your public address.
| Page | Do your scripts run? |
|---|---|
| Registration page, on your public link | Yes |
| Embedded sign-up form | Yes, inside the form’s frame on the page where you embedded it |
| Thank-you page, reached from an embedded form | Yes, it’s a full page load |
| Thank-you page, reached from your registration page | No new run. See below. |
| Thank-you page, opened again from a link or refreshed | Yes |
| Waiting room, live room and replay, opened from a link or the thank-you page | Yes |
| Find your personal link, the page shown when someone signs up twice for a session | No |
| Your own page, if you’ve set Redirect to external page (optional) | Only what you’ve put on your own page |
| The Preview and View page buttons in FullHouse | No |
| Emails | No |
Track sign-ups from the registration page
After someone submits your registration page, the thank-you page appears without the browser fully loading a new page. Your scripts have already run on the registration page and they don’t run again, so a pixel set up to count visits to the thank-you page URL can miss these sign-ups.
To count sign-ups reliably, set Redirect to external page (optional) on the thank-you page. It sends people to a page of your own, and you can fire your conversion event there. That page isn’t part of FullHouse, so add your pixel to it directly.
Why your preview doesn’t fire
The Preview button (or View page once published), and the preview beside the set-up form, don’t run your scripts or count as visits. They open on your FullHouse account’s address, where your tracking code stays out of your own dashboard session. This protects your stats and audiences from your own testing.
To test a pixel, use your public link. A visit there counts in your numbers like any other, and that’s fine for a few test clicks.
Offer tracking
FullHouse records offer activity itself. You don’t need a script for it, and these events don’t reach your pixels.
| What happens | What FullHouse records | Where it shows |
|---|---|---|
| An offer appears for someone | They saw the offer | Registrant’s Activity, Saw offer in the CSV, Sees the offer automations and the offer.seen webhook |
| They click the offer button | They clicked, and your offer opens in a new tab | Offer clicks on the report, the registrant’s Offer column, Clicked offer in the CSV, Clicks the offer automations and the offer.clicked webhook |
| They click a handout | They opened it | Registrant’s Activity |
FullHouse tracks clicks, not sales. It doesn’t know what someone buys after they leave. To connect the two:
- Put your pixel’s purchase event on your own checkout confirmation page.
- Add UTM values to the offer’s URL so your checkout or analytics tool can tell where the buyer came from. FullHouse opens the URL exactly as you entered it and adds nothing to it.
- Send your offer clicks to your CRM with an automation.
Tracking where sign-ups come from
Add UTM values to the links you share, and FullHouse keeps them with each registrant.
https://showtell.live/w/your-webinar?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign=spring| Value | Where it shows |
|---|---|
utm_source |
The Sources card on the report, the Source column in Registrants, and the CSV |
utm_medium, utm_campaign |
The registrant’s page and the CSV |
utm_term, utm_content |
The registrant’s page |
Each value keeps up to its first 120 characters. Someone with no utm_source shows as direct. An embedded form picks up UTM values from the page it’s embedded on.
Common problems
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Your pixel helper finds nothing on the page | Check you’re on your public link, not the Preview button, and that you saved. |
| The pixel fires on the registration page but no sign-up event | This is the thank-you page behaviour above. Use Redirect to external page (optional). |
Use 0 to 10000 characters. |
The box is over its limit. Move the code into a tag manager and paste only its loader. |
| A page looks broken after you added code | Clear the Tracking boxes and save, then add the snippets back one at a time. |
