How FullHouse fits together

The handful of ideas behind FullHouse, and how a webinar, a session, a registrant and a challenge relate.

Updated View as Markdown

A few ideas explain most of how FullHouse behaves. Once these make sense, the settings tend to as well.

Webinars are recordings that run like events

A webinar is your recording plus everything around it: pages, emails, chat, offers and so on. You set it up once and it runs for as long as it’s published.

Nobody can pause or rewind during the session, and everyone in a session sees the same moment of the video. That’s what makes a recording feel like an event, and what separates FullHouse from sending people a video link.

Schedules create sessions

A schedule is a rule, such as “every Tuesday at 18:00” or “every 15 minutes between 08:00 and 22:00”. A session is one actual start time that the rule produces. Registrants pick a session, and everyone who picks the same one watches together.

A webinar can have more than one schedule. Schedules explains the four types: specific dates, recurring, just-in-time and instant watch.

When someone registers, they become a registrant of that webinar and get a personal link that’s unique to them. The same link takes them to the waiting room, the live room or, afterwards, the end-of-session page with its replay button, depending on when they open it. It’s how FullHouse knows who showed up and how long they watched, without attendees ever needing an account.

Attendee pages live on showtell.live, a neutral address that doesn’t mention FullHouse. Custom domains, for using your own address, are coming soon and will depend on your plan. You sign in at app.meetfullhouse.com.

The room runs on a timeline

The room timeline is a track that runs alongside your video. You place offers, polls, handouts and chat messages at specific moments, and they appear for each attendee when the video reaches that point. It’s set in advance, so it works the same at every session.

There are three kinds of conversation

These are easy to mix up, and the difference matters:

Kind Who sees it What it’s for
Scheduled chat Everyone Pre-written messages that appear at set moments, to give the room some life
Shared chat Everyone in the room Real attendees talking to each other, moderated by you
Private questions The attendee and you Questions for you, answered by you or by AI. When chat is set to private, messages typed in the chat box come to you this way too

Chat and questions covers how to turn each one on or off.

Emails are planned at registration

When someone registers, FullHouse works out which of your emails they should get and when. Two things follow from this:

  • If you turn on an email later, people who already registered won’t get it.
  • If you edit or turn off an email, the change does apply to messages that haven’t gone out yet.

Challenges are webinars joined together

A challenge is several days under one sign-up. Each day is really a webinar, so you set up each day’s room in the same editor. Registrants get one link to a personal hub showing every day. See Challenges.

Your workspace holds it all

Your workspace holds your webinars, challenges, brand, email sender, connected tools and files. Your plan sets three things: how much you can store, how many emails FullHouse Send delivers per day, and whether you can use the MCP server. See Plan and usage.
