The thank-you page

What attendees see after registering for a webinar, including their ticket, calendar buttons, personal link and the option to change time.

Updated View as Markdown

After registering for a webinar, attendees land on a personal thank-you page. It confirms their seat and holds everything they need to get back in. To change the wording or redirect it, see Thank-you page.

Challenge attendees don’t see this page. They go to their personal hub.

What’s on the page

Part What it shows
Greeting “You’re in, Sam.” or, with no first name, “You’re in.”
Your message Your thank-you message. By default: “You’re registered! Save your personal join link below.”
The ticket The webinar’s title, the start time and day in their time zone, a “Starts in” countdown and the presenter
Main button Open your webinar room, which changes to Join now in the last 5 minutes
Copy your link Copies their join link and briefly shows Link copied
Google Calendar and Apple / Outlook Add the session to their calendar. Hidden if you turn the calendar option off
Need a different time? Lets them move to another session. See below
Small print “Your link is personal to [email protected]. It holds your seat and your replay, so keep the email we just sent.” With the confirmation email off, it ends “so save it somewhere safe.”

Going into the room

The main button works at any time. Before the start it opens the waiting room.

If they leave the page open, it takes them into the room when the countdown reaches zero. For an instant session the countdown is already at zero, so they barely see this page.

Once they select a different time, this automatic move stops, so it won’t pull them away mid-choice.

Adding to a calendar

Button What it does
Google Calendar Opens a new event in Google Calendar with the title, time and their join link
Apple / Outlook Downloads a calendar file with one event, their join link and an alert 15 minutes before

Both include their personal join link, so the link is always one tap away.

Calendar events don’t update themselves. If someone changes session, or you move a session, the event they added stays at the old time. They should delete it and add the new one.

The confirmation email can include the same file through {{calendar_link}}.

Changing to another time

Need a different time? opens a list of upcoming sessions marked “Move to another session · your link stays the same”. They choose a time, then Move my seat. The same option appears in the waiting room, where it offers later times only.

There’s no setting to turn this off.

When the option is hidden

The whole option disappears when:

  • There are no other sessions to move to. Instant sessions and sessions already running aren’t offered, and neither is their current one.
  • They’ve already attended this webinar.
  • The webinar isn’t published.
  • It’s a challenge day. Everyone attends a challenge together.

What happens when they move

  • Their personal link stays the same, so anything they’ve saved keeps working.
  • Emails not yet sent for the old session are canceled.
  • A new set of emails is planned, so they receive a new confirmation for the new time, unless your confirmation is switched off or they’ve unsubscribed.
  • Only reminders still ahead get sent.
  • The page reloads showing the new time.

Messages they can run into

Message Why What they should do
“That time is no longer available. Refresh and choose another session.” That session has closed or gone since the page loaded Refresh and choose again
“That time is no longer available.” The session has started or been canceled Choose another
“You already have a registration for this time. Choose another session.” The same email is already registered for that session Use the other registration, or choose another
“A session you have already attended cannot be moved.” They’ve already watched Nothing to do. Use the replay
“Too many attempts” and “Please wait a minute, then try again.” More than 10 moves in a minute from one network Wait a minute, then choose Try again

Sending people to your own page instead

If you set a redirect in Thank-you page, registrants go straight to that address and never see this page. They then have no calendar buttons or reschedule option, so pass along what they need. You can put these in the address, and FullHouse fills them in:

Tag Filled in with
{{email}} Their email address
{{join_link}} Their personal join link

For example:

https://example.com/next-step?email={{email}}&join={{join_link}}

Getting back to the page

The thank-you page has its own personal address, which attendees reach right after registering. Emails link to the join link rather than this page, so most people don’t come back to it. The page keeps working if you pause the webinar. If the address is wrong, it shows This link isn’t valid and “It doesn’t match a registration. Check the link in your confirmation email, or contact the event host.”

Tracking conversions

Your tracking codes run on this page, which makes it the natural place to count a registration as a conversion. If you’ve set a redirect, count it on your own page instead.
