A session is one showing of your webinar at a particular time. The Sessions tab lists them all with who booked and who came, and it’s where you cancel one that’s coming up.
Open it from Webinars → your webinar → Sessions. The list starts with the latest date, 25 to a page, with times in your browser’s time zone.
Where sessions come from
You don’t create sessions here. They come from your schedule:
- Specific dates create their sessions when you save the schedule.
- Recurring, just-in-time and instant times only become sessions when someone books one.
So an empty list doesn’t mean there are no times on offer. It reads No sessions yet until someone books. To see the times being offered, look at your registration page or Coming up in the room.
What the columns mean
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Starts | The start time. A pulsing dot marks a session that’s live now. |
| Status | Upcoming, Live now, Ended or Canceled |
| Schedule | What created it: Specific date, Recurring, Just-in-time, Instant watch or Manual |
| Registrants | People currently booked. It goes down when someone moves to another time. |
| Showed up | How many different people attended this session live |
| The last column | Cancel, for upcoming sessions only |
Manual means the session isn’t tied to a schedule rule, as with a challenge day or a session whose rule you’ve since deleted.
Someone who watched live and on the replay counts once under Showed up, and someone who only watched the replay isn’t counted. This column may not add up exactly to Showed up on the Overview report, because the report groups people by when they registered, and this tab by the session they attended.
Session states
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Upcoming | The start time hasn’t arrived. Attendees see the waiting room if they open their link. |
| Live now | Between the start time and the end of the video. Attendees join at the current point. |
| Ended | The video’s length has passed. Attendees get the replay if it’s on. |
| Canceled | You canceled it. The room shows a notice instead. |
Cancel a session
Cancel a session when you don’t want it to run, for example a specific date that no longer works. Only Upcoming sessions can be canceled here.
Find the session
Open Sessions and find the row.
Click Cancel
Confirm Cancel this session? Registrants keep their links but the room shows it as unavailable.
Tell your registrants
FullHouse doesn’t email them about it. See below.
What happens to registrants
| What | What happens |
|---|---|
| Their link | It keeps working, and shows This session was canceled, The host canceled this session. Pick another time that suits you. and a See upcoming times button that leads to your registration page. |
| Their emails | Any reminders and follow-ups not yet sent are canceled. Reminders already sent can’t be recalled. |
| The replay | There isn’t one. |
| Their registration | It stays in your Registrants list. If they sign up for a new time, they appear there as a second registration. |
| Your report | They still count in Registered, so they lower your show-up rate. They’re left out of the show-up charts. |
| Their session booking | They aren’t moved anywhere automatically. |
Canceling isn’t the same as pausing
| You want to | Do this |
|---|---|
| Stop one session running | Cancel it here |
| Stop new sign-ups, and leave booked sessions alone | Pause the webinar |
| Stop offering a time from now on | Change your schedule. Sessions already booked still run. |
| Skip particular dates on a recurring schedule | Add blockout dates to your schedule |
A session that’s Live now can’t be stopped from this tab. It runs until the video ends.
