# Thank-you page

The thank-you page appears right after someone registers. It confirms their seat, gives them their personal join link and helps them get it into their calendar. Open it from **Webinars → your webinar → Set up → Thank-you page**.

It's your best chance to raise attendance, since this is when people are most engaged. Getting the session into their calendar matters most.

## Settings

| Field | Default | Limit | What it does |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| **Message** | You're registered! Save your personal join link below. | 1,000 characters | A short line under the heading. Hidden if blank. It's plain text, and [merge tags](/reference/merge-tags) don't work here. |
| **Add-to-calendar buttons** | On | | Shows **Google Calendar** and **Apple / Outlook** buttons. |
| **Redirect to external page (optional)** | Empty | 500 characters, must start with `https://` | Skips the FullHouse thank-you page entirely. See [Send people to your own page](#send-people-to-your-own-page). |

Choose **Save changes** when you're done. The preview beside the form shows the page with a sample registrant called Ava. It always shows the FullHouse page, even if you've set a redirect.

## What attendees see

The page always includes:

- **A heading** that greets them: "You're in, Ava." or, if you don't have their first name, "You're in."
- **Your message**, if there is one.
- **A ticket** showing your public title, the session time, the day, a **Starts in** countdown and the presenter.
- **The join button**, which reads **Open your webinar room**, changing to **Join now** when the session is five minutes away or less.
- **Copy your link**, which copies their personal link.
- **A note at the bottom**: "Your link is personal to (their email). It holds your seat and your replay, so keep the email we just sent." If you've turned off the confirmation email, it ends "so save it somewhere safe." instead.

All times on this page are in the visitor's own local time, even if you've set a [Fixed timezone](/webinars/details#choose-how-times-are-shown).

Your logo, brand colour and legal footer come from [Branding](/workspace/branding), and the presenter comes from [Details](/webinars/details).

### When the session starts

If the person is still on the page when the countdown hits zero, they're taken into the room automatically. For an [instant watch](/webinars/schedule#instant-watch-settings) session that happens straight away, so they only see this page for a moment.

### Add-to-calendar buttons

| Button | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| **Google Calendar** | Opens a new Google Calendar event, with the title, start and end time, and their personal join link. |
| **Apple / Outlook** | Downloads a calendar file (`.ics`) with the title, time, your [description](/webinars/details#where-the-description-appears) and their join link. It includes an alert 15 minutes before the start. |

You can also put the calendar file in emails using `{{calendar_link}}`. The default confirmation email does this.

### Moving to a different session

If other sessions are available, the page shows a **Need a different time?** link. Opening it lists up to six other sessions under "Move to another session · your link stays the same", with a **Move my seat** button.

Moving someone:

- Keeps the same personal link.
- Cancels the emails lined up for the old session and lines up a new set for the new one. That includes a new confirmation email showing the new time.
- Isn't offered if the webinar is paused, is part of a [challenge](/challenges) or if they've already been in the room. Only future scheduled sessions are listed, so running sessions and instant watch aren't.

If they already have a registration for the time they pick, they see "You already have a registration for this time. Choose another session." If the time has gone, they see "That time is no longer available. Refresh and choose another session."

The same option appears in the [waiting room](/webinars/waiting-room), which lists up to three later sessions.

## Send people to your own page

Use **Redirect to external page** when you want to control what happens next, for example to run a one-time offer, ask for more information or show your own branded page.

FullHouse skips its thank-you page and sends people to your address. You can pass two details along in the address.

| Tag | What it becomes |
| --- | --- |
| `{{email}}` | The registrant's email address |
| `{{join_link}}` | Their personal join link |

Both are made safe for use in a web address automatically. For example:

```text
https://yoursite.com/thanks?email={{email}}&join={{join_link}}
```

These are the only two tags that work here, and they must be written exactly like this, with no spaces. See [Merge tags](/reference/merge-tags).

:::caution
**What you take on when you redirect**

Without the FullHouse thank-you page, attendees lose its join button, calendar buttons, countdown and the option to move session. Your own page should do that job, so pass `{{join_link}}` and show it clearly.

- **Tracking codes** you've added under [Tracking](/webinars/tracking) don't run on this step, because the FullHouse page never loads. Put your conversion pixel on your own page.
- **Instant watch** registrants are no longer moved into the room automatically, and their session has already started. Send them on to `{{join_link}}` quickly, or leave the redirect blank.
- **Repeat sign-ups** don't redirect. Someone registering again for the same session sees the [Find your personal link](/webinars/registration-page#if-someone-registers-twice) page instead.
:::

The address has to start with `https://`. Otherwise you'll see "Enter a valid HTTPS URL." Clear the field to go back to the FullHouse page.

Test it by registering from the [preview](/webinars#preview-before-you-publish), using an address you can check.
