# Quickstart

This takes you through the shortest path to a live webinar. Everything you skip here has sensible defaults and can be changed later. You need your recording, ideally an MP4 exported as H.264.

1. **Set your email sender**

Open **Email** in the sidebar and fill in **From name**, the name attendees see, and a **Reply-to (recommended)** address so people can reach you when they reply. Emails go out through FullHouse Send, so there's nothing else to set up to start. [More about email](/workspace/email).
2. **Add your brand**

Open **Branding** and set your workspace name, colour and logo. They appear on your public pages and in your emails. [More about branding](/workspace/branding).
3. **Create the webinar**

Open **Webinars**, choose **New webinar**, give it a name only you will see, and choose **Create webinar**. FullHouse creates a draft and opens **Set up**. [More about the editor](/webinars).
4. **Fill in the details**

On **Details**, write the **Public title** attendees see and add your presenter's name, title and photo. [Details](/webinars/details).
5. **Add your video**

Go to the **Video** step and upload your recording, or paste a direct link to an MP4 or HLS file. Wait for it to pass validation, because you can't publish without that. YouTube, Vimeo and similar page links won't work. [Video](/webinars/video).
6. **Choose a schedule**

Go to **Schedule** and add one. **Just-in-time** starts a session every few minutes, so nobody waits long. **Recurring** runs at set times each week, **Specific dates** runs on the dates you pick, and **Instant watch** starts the moment someone registers. [Schedule](/webinars/schedule).
7. **Write your registration page**

On **Registration page**, write the headline and a few bullet points. The live preview beside the form shows the result as you type. [Registration page](/webinars/registration-page).
8. **Check your emails**

Seven emails are already written and switched on: a confirmation, three reminders, two follow-ups and a replay email. Read them through on **Reminder emails** and **Follow-up emails**, then send yourself a test. [Reminder emails](/webinars/reminder-emails).
9. **Make the room feel live**

Open **Room timeline** and add at least an offer or some chat messages at the moments you want them to appear. You can import a whole chat from a spreadsheet saved as CSV. [Room timeline](/webinars/timeline).
10. **Publish**

Open **Go live**. When the two required checks have ticks, choose **Publish webinar**, then copy your registration link. [Go live](/webinars/go-live).
11. **Test it as an attendee**

Open your link and register with your own email address. Check the confirmation email, open your personal link, and stay in the room long enough to see your timeline items appear.

:::note
A test registration is a real registration, with real emails, and it counts in your numbers. When you've finished testing, [delete it](/run/registrants#delete-a-registrant) from the **Registrants** tab.

## Where to go next

- [Add a poll](/webinars/polls), [AI answers](/webinars/ai-answers) or [your tracking pixel](/webinars/tracking).
- [Send registrants to your CRM](/connect) with Kit, ActiveCampaign, Pinball, GoHighLevel or webhooks.
- [Embed sign-up on your own website](/connect/embed-widget).
- Run through the full [launch checklist](/start/launch-checklist) before you spend money on traffic.
