# Set up your account

Your FullHouse account is created for you when you buy. There is no separate sign-up form, so you start from an email rather than from a sign-up page. If someone has [invited you to their team](/workspace/team), your email has a **Set your password** button, and the steps below work the same way, except you join their workspace.

## Activate your account

1. **Find the welcome email**

   Look for an email from FullHouse sent to the address you used to buy. It contains a personal link to set your password. If it isn't in your inbox, check spam and promotions.
2. **Open the link and choose a password**

   The page greets you by first name and shows your email address. Enter a **Password**, repeat it under **Confirm password**, and choose **Set password and continue**.
3. **You're in**

   Saving your password signs you in and opens your dashboard, with the message "Your password is set. Welcome to FullHouse." From now on you sign in at [app.meetfullhouse.com](https://app.meetfullhouse.com). Bookmark it: this is where you manage everything.

The welcome link works for one year and only once. If it has expired or was already used, the page says **This link has expired or was already used**. Choose **Email me a new link** to open the password reset form with your address filled in, then choose **Email password reset link**. The link in that email works for one hour. If you've already set a password, use **Log in** under **Already set a password?** instead.

A password needs at least 12 characters, with upper and lower case letters, a number and a symbol. New passwords are also checked against known data breaches, so a password that has leaked elsewhere can be refused. See [Account and security](/workspace/account-security) for details.

## Sign in

Open [app.meetfullhouse.com](https://app.meetfullhouse.com), enter your email and password, and choose **Log in**.

- **Remember me** keeps you signed in on that device for up to 30 days. Without it, you're signed out 2 hours after signing in, even if you're still working.
- If you've turned on two-factor authentication, you'll be asked for a code next.
- If you've added a passkey, you can choose **Sign in with a passkey** instead.

If your session has ended by the time you next save, you're sent to the login page and that change isn't kept. Sign in and make it again. A login page left open for a long time still works: it renews itself when you submit it.

## Forgot your password

Choose **Forgot your password?** on the login page and enter your email address. FullHouse emails you a reset link, which works for one hour.

## Secure your account

Before you collect real registrations, take two minutes to protect the account:

1. Turn on [two-factor authentication](/workspace/account-security).
2. Add a [passkey](/workspace/account-security) if your device supports one.
3. Save your recovery codes somewhere safe.
