# Pinball

Pinball is the closest integration FullHouse has. It works in both directions, with no keys to copy: your Pinball pages can sign people up for FullHouse webinars and challenges, and what attendees do in FullHouse can tag and enroll them in Pinball.

## Connect Pinball

You need to be able to sign in to both accounts, and you approve once. You can start from either side.

1. **Start the connection**

In FullHouse, go to **Workspace → Integrations**, find **Pinball** and click **Connect Pinball**. Or in Pinball, open the FullHouse integration and click **Connect FullHouse**.
2. **Approve it in Pinball**

Pinball shows an approval screen. Check that you've chosen the Pinball workspace you want to link, then approve it.
3. **You're done**

You land back where you started, with a message such as "Pinball connected to Acme." The card now says **Connected** and shows which Pinball workspace it's linked to, along with your tags and automations.

Each side keeps a private key for the other, which you never see or handle. A FullHouse workspace links to one Pinball workspace. Connecting again replaces the previous link.

### If connecting fails

| Message | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| Pinball access wasn't approved, so nothing was connected. | You declined on the approval screen. Start again if you want to connect. |
| That Pinball connection expired. Start it again. | You have 15 minutes to approve. Start again, in the same browser. |
| Pinball couldn't be reached. Try again. | Try again in a moment. |
| Pinball couldn't finish linking. | Nothing was connected. Try again, and contact support if it keeps happening. |

## From Pinball into FullHouse: register people

Once linked, your Pinball funnels can register people for your **published** FullHouse webinars and challenges. Unpublished ones don't appear, and individual challenge days aren't listed separately.

### What you get in Pinball

- **A list of what's published.** Pinball's FullHouse integration page shows your webinars with their next session, and your challenges with their number of days.
- **A registration action.** Choose a webinar or challenge in a funnel step's lead-capture actions, and the step's form signs people up.
- **Next-session details.** Your pages can show the next session's date and time and a live countdown, so you never hardcode a date.
- **A personal thank-you page.** Each person's join link, session time and calendar buttons appear on the thank-you page. It can also take them into the room when their session starts.
- **Email personalisation.** Pinball emails can include the person's join link and session details.

The details of building these pages are in Pinball.

### What happens when someone signs up

It's a normal FullHouse registration, the same as using your FullHouse registration page. The person appears under [Registrants](/run/registrants), FullHouse sends its own confirmation and reminders, and your webhooks and automation rules fire as usual.

- **Sessions:** the form registers people for the soonest upcoming session, or for the session they pick if you offer a choice. Pinball gets up to the next three sessions in its list, and six for a single webinar.
- **Answers and tracking:** email, name, phone, time zone, consent, UTM values and answers to your [registration questions](/webinars/registration-page) are passed along. Your required fields and questions still apply.
- **Someone already registered:** they aren't registered twice. FullHouse emails their link again, and shows them "You're already registered. We've emailed your link again." rather than displaying the link, so nobody can get another person's link by typing their email.
- **No upcoming sessions:** registration fails with "This webinar has no upcoming sessions."
- **Challenges:** one registration enrols the person in every day, and the link goes to their personal challenge hub.

:::tip
Since FullHouse sends the confirmation and reminders, use Pinball email for your wider nurture sequence, and avoid sending a second set of reminders.
:::

Pinball can make up to 1,200 requests a minute per workspace and 600 registrations a minute, which covers very heavy launches.

## From FullHouse into Pinball: act on what attendees do

Automation rules on your webinars can update Pinball contacts when someone registers, joins, reaches a watch milestone, sees or clicks your offer, or opens the replay. Tags can then unlock tag-gated courses and start Pinball's tag automations.

### Add a rule

1. **Open the Automations step**

Go to **Webinars →** your webinar **→ Automations** and click **Add automation**.
2. **Choose the trigger**

Pick an action under **When an attendee…**. For **Watches at least…**, also choose a percentage.
3. **Choose Pinball and the actions**

Under **Send to**, choose **Pinball**. Choose at least one of:

- **Add tags:** tick existing tags, or type a **New tag name** and click **Add**. Pinball creates any tag that doesn't exist yet. Up to 25 tags, each up to 64 characters.
- **Remove tags:** the same, for tags to take off. Up to 25.
- **Enroll in automations:** tick Pinball email automations. Up to 10.

Click **Refresh** if something you've recently built in Pinball is missing.
4. **Save**

Leave **Active** on and click **Add automation**.

An automation that isn't active in Pinball is marked "won't enroll until active". Publish it in Pinball before your webinar. If you've built none, you'll see "No Pinball automations found — build one in Pinball, then hit "Refresh"."

### What FullHouse sends to Pinball

When a rule fires, once per person per rule, FullHouse creates or updates the contact in Pinball with their email, first name, last name and phone, and applies your tag changes and enrollments. It also passes the event: what triggered it, the webinar, watch percentage, whether they clicked the offer, when they registered and their UTM values.

See [Automations](/webinars/automations) and [When an automation fails](/connect#when-an-automation-fails).

## Manage the connection

The **Pinball** card under **Workspace → Integrations** shows what's linked.

| Item | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| **Linked to** | The Pinball workspace, and how long ago you connected. |
| Tag and automation count | How many are available in rules, and when they were last synced. |
| **Refresh tags & automations** | Gets the latest from Pinball. You can do this 10 times a minute. |
| **Open in Pinball** | Opens the integration page in Pinball. |
| **Disconnect** | Unlinks both sides, after you confirm. |

### Disconnect

Click **Disconnect** on the card and confirm, or disconnect from the Pinball side. Afterwards:

- Pinball pages stop registering people for your webinars. Update those funnels, so that visitors don't hit a form that doesn't work.
- Pinball rules on your webinars stay in place, but fail with "Integration is not connected for this workspace."
- People already registered stay registered, and contacts already in Pinball aren't changed.

To reconnect, click **Connect Pinball** again. You'll approve once more, and existing rules start working again.

### If the link stops working

| Message | Where | What to do |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Pinball no longer accepts this connection. Reconnect it under Integrations. | On a rule, or when refreshing | The link was removed in Pinball. Connect again. |
| This FullHouse link was removed. Reconnect FullHouse in Pinball. | In Pinball | The link was removed in FullHouse. Connect again. |
| This FullHouse workspace is suspended. | In Pinball | See [Suspended accounts](/workspace/account-security#if-your-account-is-suspended). |
| Connect Pinball under Workspace → Integrations first. | When saving a rule | Connect it first. |
